- Students were sent middle school scheduling form and Dragon Day permission slips this week. It is a busy time of year! Please talk with your child about keeping their folder organizing and taking it home each night so they can stay organized and on top of paperwork they need to bring home and then back to school!

- We could use some HEALTHY SNACK donations! We are looking for individually packaged, peanut free snacks that can be stored in the classroom for when a child needs/ forgets to bring their own! Thank you in advance!
Academic and P2 Highlights for next week:
Positivity Project: Next week we will learn about Social Intelligence. Social intelligence refers to a person’s ability to understand and manage interpersonal relationships
Math: Unit 6: Multi-Step Story Problems: Students will be working on mastering multi-step equations involving both decimals and fractions.
Readers' Workshop: Students have begun learning about argumentative nonfiction. They will be researching a high-interest debatable topic in preparation for a final debate. Students will be taking notes to support their claim, reasoning, and evidence.
Writers' Workshop: Students have been writing opinion essays about the topic "Should Chocolate Milk be Allowed in Schools?" Students have read articles and will be revising their essays to include specific evidence.
Social Studies: Chapter 7 Comparing the Colonies: Students will learn abut the similarities and differences among the New England, Middle, and Southern Colonies. Students will be put in groups to prepare a billboard advertising their colony!
