Academic and P2 Highlights for next week:
Positivity Project: This week we are learning about prudence. Prudence is the ability to do the right thing at the right time, for the right reason.
Math: This week we will be reviewing some of the more challenging concepts from chapter 3- solving story problems using multiplication or division of fractions. Our common assessment on Wednesday, January 15 will cover multiplication and division of fractions and multiplying using the powers of 10. A review packet of multiplication and division will be given this week.
Readers' Workshop: Students will be presenting their inquiry research then be showing off their knowledge as they are assessed in both fiction and nonfiction.
Writers' Workshop: Students will be finalizing their informational research writing on the Westward Expansion.
Science: Students will be continuing to learn more about gravity to help us better understand how does the Earth affect the direction of divers around the world.
Thanks for reading! Have a wonderful weekend with your family and friends!
