Academic and P2 Highlights for next week:
Positivity Project: This week we are learning about how to practice self control. Great timing with the upcoming holiday! Students are learning to think before they act. The week after the holiday we will be learning about perseverance. We will learn not to give up, no matter the challenge in front of us!
Math: Students math test on multiplication and division of fractions. Students will get their test back with the corrections handout on Monday returning from break. Test corrections will be due on Friday, January 11. The week returning from break we will begin Unit 4 which is the multiplication and division with decimals.
Readers' Workshop: Students will finish their research the week prior to the holiday. After the break, students will be organizing their research into main ideas and supporting details. We are excited to work alongside Mrs. Crissman to turn our research into a sway or powerpoint after all the hard work is done!
Writers' Workshop: Students are finishing up their WWII informational essays prior to the holiday. After the holiday, students will be reading short stories in preparation for our Literary Essay.
Science Ch-ch-changes is the name of our new unit! We will be learning about physical and chemical changes! Our first phenomenon will be based off watching water boil in two different types of pains.
Thanks for reading! Have a wonderful holiday with your family and friends!
