Academic and P2 Highlights for next week:
Positivity Project: This week we will be learning about appreciation of beauty. Appreciating beauty and excellence means that you notice and value the world’s beauty and people’s skills. This is the ability to identify and enjoy that which is admirable in the world.
Math: Chapter 7: Patterns and Tables: Students will be wrapping up chapter 7 by looking at charts and graphing them into ordered pairs. Test date to come.
Readers' Workshop: We have begun our last fiction unit of the year- fantasy! Students will fill out an interest inventory so they can be put in book clubs with a series they are excited to read! During this unit, students will read three books in a series.
Writers' Workshop: Students will finalize typing their drafts and edit. Opinion pieces will be published this week!
Social Studies: Chapter 6: Early English Settlements. Students will learn about three early English settlements in North America.

Weekly "How to Help at Home" Tip! :
- MStep continues! Please make sure your child gets plenty of sleep, eats a healthy breakfast, and arrives to school on time. On testing days we typically start testing as soon as we get settled and test for an hour. Please do your best to avoid tardies and absences during this time. Thanks for your help in making M-Step a smooth process!
