Academic and P2 Highlights for next week:
Positivity Project: Next week we will be learning about gratitude. Every day we will keep a list of three things we are grateful for in preparation for our upcoming gratitude holiday.
Math: Students will be continuing along in chapter 3: Multiplication and Division of fractions. Students will spend time modeling and explaining how fractions get multiplied by whole numbers or other fractions.
Readers' Workshop: Students will introduced to nonfiction text structures and work on identifying the different ways our authors organize nonfiction pieces.
Writers' Workshop: Students will continue researching Westward Expansion in our social studies books as well as in outside sources in preparation for our Informational writing unit.
Social Studies: Chapter two test has been bumped to Tuesday, November 19. Students will be taking home a study guide to help them prepare. Students will not be able to use their book or notes on the test. Students will begin learning about American Indian Cultural Regions in Chapter 3.
